The Desvalido Disla is named after Raul Disla, the production manager at NACSA in Estelí, Nicaragua, where Dapper Cigar Co.'s cigars are rolled. Ian Reith asked Disla to remake the Desvalido blend more to his own liking — the result is an almost complete remake that's simpler in leaf variety, bolder in flavor and strength, yet ritualistically smokeable. The only common denominator with the original Desvalido is the Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper; the rest is a more aggressively Nicaraguan blend.
