HDA - Descending Shadows

HDA's Descending Shadows is built around a brooding Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper and a Nicaraguan core drawn from the Esteli and Ometepe growing regions — two of the country's most distinctive terroirs. The result is a cigar that earns its name from the first puff, settling into a smoky, deliberate profile that feels designed for the quieter hours of the evening.

The flavor opens with roasted coffee and dark chocolate, layered over a steady mineral earthiness that gives the smoke its grounded character. A slow-building pepper note emerges through the middle third without ever pushing past the rest of the blend, and the finish carries a touch of dark cocoa that lingers cleanly on the palate.

Descending Shadows is for the smoker who wants depth without theater. It rewards patience, pairs naturally with bourbon or black coffee, and stands as a confident expression of what Nicaraguan tobacco can become under an Ecuadorian wrapper.
