Intemperance WR 1794
The RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 is the brand's tribute to one of the earliest tax revolts in American history — a full-bodied blend named for the 1794 uprising against the federal whiskey tax. Wrapped in an Ecuadorian Habano Ligero leaf, built over an Indonesian Besuki binder and a Nicaraguan-Dominican filler core, it's a cigar that earns its name.
The flavor opens with cedar and earth, joined immediately by an herb-and-black-pepper second wave that gives the smoke its early bite. As the wrapper engages, cocoa powder emerges in the middle third, the cedar deepens, and a clean creaminess underneath holds the heavier notes in check. The pepper builds steadily through the back half without ever becoming aggressive.
Whiskey Rebellion 1794 is full-bodied but never angry — slow-burning, rich, and refined. Pair it with bourbon (the natural choice), aged rum, or strong coffee, and give it the time it asks for. Like the rebellion itself, this one isn't for the faint of heart.
