Micallef - Herencia Habano
The Micallef Herencia Habano is part of the brand's "Legacy Line" — a name that signals the cigar's heritage-leaning style and its connection to the Gómez-Sánchez family's tobacco history, dating back to Pedro F. Gómez in Cuba circa 1934. Wrapped in a Nicaraguan Habano leaf, with an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and a Nicaragua + Honduras filler core.
The flavor opens with zesty cabinet spices and fresh cedar, balanced by a bread-like sweetness that defines the smoke's early character. Through the middle third, sweet floral notes emerge alongside buttered toast and a quiet salt note on the palate, giving the smoke Cuban-esque smoking characteristics. The finish carries volume — voluminous, creamy smoke that lingers without overstaying.
Herencia Habano is medium in strength but full in flavor — a cigar that rewards a slow burn and pairs naturally with espresso, light rum, or a thoughtful afternoon. A confident expression of heritage-style craft from a modern blender.
