The Micallef Leyenda — Spanish for "Legend" — is the brand's expression of bold, full-flavored Nicaraguan craft. Wrapped in a dark, marbled Ecuadorian Habano leaf with a Nicaraguan binder and a long-filler blend drawn from Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. The tobaccos are aged five years before rolling, and the cigars themselves are rolled without molds using techniques from a bygone era.
The flavor opens with fresh cedar and zesty cabinet spices at the front, joined by medium-roast coffee bean and a quiet pepper undercurrent. As the smoke develops, vanilla cream emerges through the middle third, balanced by the cedar and spice that carry the cigar steadily forward. The finish closes on a warm, refined note.
